Daisy 's Story
Meet Daisy!

Daisy is a sweet, sensitive little girl who is just waiting to find her person. This 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs about 10 pounds and has a gentle heart that truly blossoms once she feels safe and loved.

Daisy can be a bit shy and anxious when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience, and she will quickly show you just how affectionate she really is. Once she warms up, she becomes your little shadow—following you from room to room, curling up in your lap, and soaking up every bit of love and attention she can get. She absolutely adores being close to her person.

Because of how people-oriented she is, Daisy would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. She thrives on companionship and would be happiest with someone who works from home or is home often and can give her the reassurance and closeness she craves.

Daisy is wonderful with other dogs and does great with cats as well. She has a very easygoing and gentle nature, making her a lovely addition to a calm and loving home. She is doing well with both potty pads and going outside.

One thing to note—Daisy does not enjoy being in a crate and can become anxious when confined that way. A playpen setup or a home where she can have more freedom (and, most importantly, her person nearby) will help her feel most comfortable and secure.

Daisy was surrendered by her previous owner and is now thriving in foster care, surrounded by other dogs. She’s proven herself to be a loving, devoted little companion who just wants a family to call her own. Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will come with a health certificate prior to adoption. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate lap dog who will adore you endlessly and stick by your side, Daisy is ready to fill that role—and your heart.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
