Daisy's Story

Meet Daisy! This sweet senior girl is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can finally relax and enjoy all the soft blankets, comfy couches, sunshine, and love she deserves.

Daisy is a laid-back girl who enjoys sleeping, cuddling, spending time outside, and having little bouts of fun with a ball. She would love a calm canine companion to help her feel confident, but another dog isn’t necessarily a requirement. She’s not looking for a home where she’ll be pushed or constantly corrected—she simply wants to be loved and allowed to be herself.

Daisy is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment soon. We want to be completely transparent about her medical needs and give her future family options. Daisy may be adopted before treatment begins, with her adopter completing the treatment in their home. If she is not adopted before treatment starts, she will temporarily be delisted while her foster family handles her treatment. Once treatment is complete, Daisy will be listed for adoption again.

Her perfect home is one filled with patience, soft places to rest, a little sunshine, and someone who understands that senior dogs deserve to spend their golden years feeling safe and incredibly loved.

If Daisy sounds like the sweet girl you’ve been looking for, we’d love for you to apply!
Apply to adopt here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AGAR/Dog

Questions?
