Daisy

Daisy was surrendered to our shelter with her 7 children. She likely had very little care or attention from humans. She remained with her pups for a week or so until they were no longer nursing. With time and space to herself, plenty to eat, and positive human interaction, Daisy began to see that being a dog can be a joyful thing.<br/><br/>Daisy is about 4-5 years old and currently weighs 42 pounds. She eats with gusto and is working at putting some more meat on her bones. <br/><br/>This girl loves to stretch her legs in our play yard and to greet the other dogs. She joyfully returns to the people nearby for hugs. She gets along with the cats in our cat room. We can only imagine how happy Daisy will be when she has steady human love and companionship and a safe space to call her own. Her spay expenses are fully covered at Boonesboro Animal Clinic in Winchester, KY. If you prefer to have her surgery done at a different location, we can apply part of her adoption fee to surgery expenses. <br/><br/>The shelter accepts cash and checks. Credit card, Pay Pal, or Google Pay transactions can be made through a QR code to the shelter.<br/> <br/>We are happy to answer any questions you may have about Daisy!
