Dahlia (Tripod)'s Story

Are you looking for a 3 legged shadow with bunches of energy? I might be your girl! My name is Dahlia, the humans I live with call me Dolly when we are playing but I really answer to any excited voice. I am about a year old and identify as a ball enthusiast, toy destroyer and best friend for any activity. I was hit by a car at an early age that partially healed incorrectly and because I have so much energy and don't need 4 legs, my rescue family decided to amputate. But don't worry, that leg only slowed me down. I'm much faster now and have had a full, successful recovery. My foster mom says I'm a very smart girl who is picking up basic obedience training commands and I'm walking really well on a leash. I'm very treat motivated and want to continue to learn. My foster Mom says I'm a wild child and thinks that I am mixed with working breeds and I act like a Belgian Malinois. I am crate trained, housebroken, enjoy car rides and am good with other dogs of all sizes. I currently live with cats and quickly learned, our kitties are for watching not playing. I've been around children and while I am energetic and still a puppy, I have been fine with smaller humans thus far. Interested in meeting me and giving me a wonderful life? My foster family kindly requests putting in a application on our website.
