🐾 Meet Dahlia (“Dali”)<br/><br/>Our rescue is working with a wonderful human who is in need of rehoming Dahlia aka Dali, her sweet, shy female 3+ year old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix pup. She had her DNA tested and also has some Bull Dog and Boxer in her too!<br/><br/>Rescued in 2024 after living as a stray and raising puppies, Dali had a tough start and can be timid with new people. With patience and kindness, she blossoms into a goofy, affectionate, loyal companion who just wants to be loved.<br/><br/>💕 Personality & Behavior<br/>* Shy at first, but deeply affectionate once she trusts you<br/>* Playful and goofy — expect zoomies and couch snuggles<br/>* A “velcro dog” who loves being close to her person<br/>* Strong-willed but very food-motivated and eager to learn<br/>* Enjoys walks, enrichment toys, and dog parks<br/>* Not a fan of being approached from behind while leashed<br/><br/>🐶 Ideal Home<br/>Dali would thrive in a home that is:<br/>* Quiet and low-stress<br/>* Patient and willing to go slow while building trust<br/>* Experienced with shy or sensitive dogs<br/>* Has a friendly, confident dog sibling (preferred)<br/>* Includes a fenced yard for zoomies<br/><br/>🏠 Training & Care<br/>* House-trained and crate-trained<br/>* Leash-trained<br/>* No food aggression or resource guarding<br/>* No formal obedience training yet, but highly trainable with treats<br/>* Would benefit from continued socialization and confidence-building (vet visits, new environments)<br/><br/>🩺 Health & Status<br/>* Spayed<br/>* Fully vaccinated (through February)<br/>* Microchipped<br/><br/>Dali is truly a gentle, loving soul who deserves a calm home and a family ready to help her continue learning that the world is safe.<br/><br/>Adoption/Rehoming Fee: $250.00<br/><br/>📧 Interested in adopting Dali?
