D.O.G *Waived Fee Possible's Story

DOG (Dee-Oh-Gee), the beagle who came to with paralysis in her hind legs, is now in search of a long-term foster or a foster-to-adopt home. She is mobile, she is fast and she's taking life by the horns. However she does come with some limitations which I will touch on in a moment. Yes you heard that right, she is up, she is mobile, she can walk and she can definitely run. The only thing you will notice is her gait is just a little off and that should change as she rebuilds all of her muscles.

- DOG is a 2 year old very petite beagle.
- She's currently a bit heavier than Id like but her exercise is limited as her foster doesn't have a fenced yard. She should ideally stay between 20-25lbs.
- DOG is friendly with other dogs and adores people.
- She is not cat or bunny friendly!
- She is mostly house and crate trained at this stage.
- SHE DOES REQUIRE A SECURELY FENCED YARD since she’s quite the active pup and has a nose that she doesn't ignore.
- As a retired rabbit dog, she will need gradual exposure and confidence-building in public settings. Take her to a new grassy field or hiking trail, and she’ll be overjoyed; however, a trip to the pet store might leave her feeling a bit shy.
- An apartment or townhouse simply WON’T provide the happiness she deserves. She will not be happy with a home where she has to be walked when outside. She's a free spirit and after everything she's been through with this recovery, she deserves to be happy.

There are a few important considerations:
- SHE NEEDS TO BE IN A HOME WITHOUT OVERLY ENERGETIC DOGS. A single misstep—whether it’s a jump, a landing, or a tumble with another dog—could set her back to square one in her recovery.

- NO JUMPING OFF BEDS, COUCHES OR STAIRS IS ALLOWED. While we can’t guarantee that she won’t need to rehab or even surgery if this ever happens again, we can say that with careful management and supervision, she should thrive. The original injury stemmed from a jump off a elevated platform in her previous yard while playing with other dogs, so vigilance is key.

Located In North, South Carolina (Orangeburg)

REDUCED FEE $300
(Partial Sponsors)
- WAIVED if spay is performed by the adopter.
