Cyrus's Story
Meet Cyrus!

We have a lovely, special needs dog in our shelter in need of a good home to call his own. He is protective, affectionate, and unwaveringly loyal to those he loves. His favorite gesture of affection is to lean against your leg while getting pets.

He loves to play fetch, and just play in general. You’ll often find him proudly carrying around any new toy that he is given. He is good with other dogs, and has been house trained. He currently is very good at the commands of sit and even shake with both paws!

He is also slow to trust. He will need a loving home, with a small number of familiar, patient people for him to be with. If you are interested in adopting him it may take a few visits with him to truly earn his trust, but it is so worth it once you have that relationship with him.

Since being brought in to us Cyrus in obedience school with Yoshi from Righteous K9. He has shown incredible growth through these classes and we have a lot of hope for him. And are excited to see where he goes next.

If you would like to meet him or learn more about him please reach out to SCAA at 208-267-7504. We hope to hear from you soon!
