**Meet Cypress!**

Cypress and his mom, Jorrae, were heartbreakingly dumped from a landscaping vehicle into a Phoenix neighborhood. Scared and unsure, they ran together into a local community garden, where we were able to safely secure them. Both were covered in mange, battling secondary infections, and infested with ticks—but despite their rough start, they never lost their sweet spirits. We were lucky to be in the right place at the right time to bring them to safety.

Now fully recovered, Cypress is a happy, playful boy who loves to wrestle and chase after toys. He’s wonderful on a leash—one of our volunteers’ favorite walking buddies—and is picking up basic commands quickly. He’s a gentle soul who enjoys being where his people are and would do great in a home with kids. An active family who loves adventure would be a perfect fit for him.

Cypress and Jorrae have been through so much together, and while we’d love for them to find a home as a pair, we know they’ll have a better chance of being adopted separately. Thankfully, we believe they’ll do just fine apart, as long as they have loving families to call their own.
