We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption.<br/>Cylas is 1 year old, 55 pounds, neutered, up to date on all vetting, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.<br/><br/>Cylas was found as a stray and brought to us when no one came forward to claim him! We cannot believe that nobody claimed him, because he is the sweetest man to walk the earth! He loves to play fetch and when he brings the ball back, he will sit on your feet and wait for you to throw it again. Cylas LOVES his people and once he gets to know you, he is bonded for life. He is quite the energetic boy at only 1 year old, so he will need a family that will give him lots of play time and take him for adventures! He does great with other dogs of all sizes and would be super happy to have a canine companion in his forever home. Cylas can jump fences so he will need to be kept on leash until he bonds to his new family, or in a home with a privacy fence. All in all, Cylas is a super handsome, silly, happy-go-lucky guy and his furever family will be so lucky to have him!

Protective Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)'s Adoption Policy

We do show our pets by appointment only upon receipt of the online application which can be found here or at kcpaws.org. We are located inside of KCPAWS a doggy daycare and Boarding facility Our adoption fees range from $175 (seniors) to $350 with the average adoption fee being $200 We pride ourselves in our match based adoption process. Upon receiving an approved adoption application, our adoptions counselors will spend quality time with each adopter to ensue that they are getting a pet that will be a perfect fit for their family and life style. All KC PAWS dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and microchipped at the time of adoption. Our adoption kits include a leash and collar, a starter amount of food, and a few toys and treats for your new best friend. We remain a resource to all of our adopted dogs through the remainder of their life. We provide in home training services, as well as 1 month free doggy daycare from the day of adoption. Our pet services are always available to all of our adopted alumni.
