Curry's Story

Curry arrived as an unwanted stray from a remote crowded shelter. He has truly blossomed in foster care. He appears to be a Pomeranian, Dachshund, or Chihuahua type mix, and when he is laying on his back he definitely gives Corgi vibes. He is about a year old and still very much a floppy, playful puppy. Curry is a great little dog who loves toys, chasing a ball around the house, and getting the zoomies after a bath. He loves belly rubs, is goofy and cuddly, and is very attached to his foster parents. He uses the doggie door, has adapted well to his nighttime crate routine, and weights about 14 pounds. He brings laughter whenever he goes.

Curry is very afraid of meeting new people at first. When he is scared, he has a loud bark that lets you know he is uncomfortable. This surprised us because once he feels safe he is incredibly loving and affection. We are working with him on meeting new people, but his forever family will need to be patient and understanding, as it may take him a day or so to feel comfortable and show his true personality. Once he does, Curry is pure love.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
