Curly's Story
Meet Curly – A Sweet Boy Ready for a Fresh Start!

Curly is a 1-year-old male German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. This sweet boy was found wandering with his brothers, Larry and Moe, near a truck stop, and we believe they were sadly dumped there. When they arrived, the trio was malnourished, covered in fleas, and in desperate need of care. Despite everything they’d been through, Curly wanted nothing more than to be caught, comforted, and shown some love.

After receiving the TLC he needed, Curly’s personality has truly begun to shine. He’s a kind, affectionate dog who loves to run, play, and just enjoy being with people. Curly gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home where he has a canine friend to play with. We’re unsure how he does with cats.

Curly is now healthy, happy, and ready for a forever home where he’ll never be abandoned again. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a big heart and a gentle nature, Curly may be the perfect match.

Interested in meeting Curly?
Visit Boonville Animal Control Shelter at 1560 E.
