cuddly Teddy

This easy going, ultra loving, snuggly little peanut is Teddy! He came into rescue when his human dad passed away and his mom asked for help with 15 of their chihuahuas. They had too many dogs and far more than she could care for. She desperately wanted help and fortunately a fabulous foster home was happy to take this special tiny guy in and give him lots of love until he can find his forever home.<br/><br/>He’s about 7 years old and came in very skinny, neglected snd undernourished. He’s had lots of great nutrition, both home cooked and kibble, and given lots of love and great vet care! He’s now gained all needed weight and is a perfect 7 lbs. He’s had his vaccines completed, heartworm tested negative, he’s been dewormed, had senior lab work done several times, he’s been microchipped, neutered, and current on preventative. He’s a happy guy and is now ready to find love!<br/><br/>Teddy acclimated into foster care with no issues whatsoever. He was immediate great with their cat, and made fast friends with the other dogs! He’s never been an only dog, but he’d be okay as an only dog if he had snuggly parents ready to fill the void with lots of cuddles and love. Teddy reliably goes potty outside and will also use pee pads. He’s a healthy eater, and is the easiest guy to have and to love. He enjoys snuggling up in a dog bed with the other little pups in his foster home, and more than anything he loves to snuggle on the sofa in your lap! He will also sleep with you in bed through the night. He is a super easy going, mellow, loving boy and isn’t demanding at all. The only thing he really longs for is snuggles and a loving parent to hold him, hug and kiss him, and treat him as the sweet little baby he is.
