CUBA's Story

CUBA is an 8 1/2 year old Terrier mix originally removed from his home on 6/16/17 with Jamaica. Both were extremely emaciated. Very suave and sophisticated, Cuba is a nice guy who sits happily for treats and walks well! He keeps a clean kennel and may be house broken. Cuba loves to run and play outside. Indoors, his favorite toys are Kong toys and outside, during the summer, his favorite activity is literally lounging in the kiddie pool or chewing it up. Many dogs, like Cuba, prefer not to have their picture taken and they'll either turn away from the camera or strike some serious, stoic poses. As a puppy, Cuba had some great poses and smiles. Upon return, he was less enthusiastic about having his picture taken. Since he's been here over 2 years, we thought we'd freshen up his photos. If you've followed this guy, then you'll probably note the change in his coat color. And we hope you'll notice that while he was a little reserved in front of the camera, we did manage to capture some of his happiness. Cuba truly loves attention, cuddling, sitting in laps, giving and receiving kisses. He really is a great dog, but you should stop in, meet him and see for yourself. Cuba's adoption fee has been sponsored by an anonymous donor. Potential adopters must submit an online adoption application for pre-approval by clicking this link:<br/>https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice... He's neutered, current on shots, has been wormed, microchipped and is treated with monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventive. Adopted on 7/11/17, Cuba was returned 2/26/19 because he wasn't getting along with the other dogs. Cuba may fare best in a home as the only pet.
