Cruise is a 7-year, 10-month-old male Schnauzer who is here with his "big sister" Sassy, with whom he has an incredible bond! <br/>Cruise is a very outgoing, curious boy who can be a bit of a "busy body", he just loves to know what is going on and he puts this to good use by being the most supportive little "brother" to Sassy, who relies on his eyes and guidance since she has been diagnosed with inoperable cataracts, which does impact her vision. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead.<br/>Why we ask these questions:<br/>We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal.<br/>For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions.<br/>Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve.<br/>What happens next:<br/>Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog.<br/>If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!<br/>Important information:<br/>Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your application is approved.<br/>We're truly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our animals!
