Crosby's Story
Hello! It me Crosby! I'm back at Fetch and looking for a new forever home.

I'm a very unique and special boy. I will test your patience and make your heart melt in all kinds of ways.

A little more about me:

I'm a bit frenzied. Part nature for a herding breed, and part nurture from less than ideal early years. I'm great at settling in and cuddling. But I get worked up easily when it's time to move and my switch flips to on, no dimmer!!

Here's a long list of things I absolutely love:

- Other dogs and making new dog friends. I play nicer with dogs bigger than me as I tend to overwhelm dogs my size or smaller.

- People and getting nice pets and cuddles.

- Toys!! Every single kind.

- Treats!!!

- Car rides.

- Leashed walks.

- Exploring and running around outside in the yard.

I have seizures and take medicine twice daily on a schedule to keep under control. My medications require annual bloodwork and all should be considered when budgeting for vet care.

I'm also taking medicine for anxiety. However, I am far less anxious on a daily basis when I'm not left home alone often.

I have some balance issues and walk with a slight wobble, or I sometimes slip or topple around when I get worked up and excited. But it doesn't seem to bother me. I'm like a little bouncy ball and keep bopping around as usual.

Potty trained? Eh, sort of. I often have an accident when I'm home alone. Basically, expect it to happen. I know potty belongs outside but I sometimes lack focus when it's time to do my business, and I drink A LOT of water.

I'd do best in a home with -

- Someone who is home more often than not. I get very anxious when I'm left alone.

- Another playful dog.

- A fenced in yard.

I have unmatched adorableness and charm, even with my quirks. I've never met a person that doesn't think I'm the cutest little dude, and I provide endless amounts of entertainment and laughs with my goofy personality.

If you'd be a good fit, and have room in your heart and your home for a sweet boy like me, send in an adoption application for me (Crosby) today! I will be so excited to meet you!!!

Apply today: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt

Name: Crosby

D.O.B: 11/29/18

Breed: Herding Mix

Sex: Male

Weight: 38 lbs

Altered: Yes

Adoption Fee: $400

Good with cats: Unknown.

Good with dogs: Yes, I enjoy the company of other, bigger dogs!

Good with kids: Older kids preferred.

Special Requirements: A fenced in yard, another playful dog in the home, someone who is home more often then they are not.

*Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member.
