Cringer's Story

Cringer is a 1-year old brindle mixed breed who came to the shelter as a stray and is still learning that the world can be a kind place. This sweet boy is a bit unsure at first, but beneath that cautious exterior is a loving, sensitive soul waiting to blossom. He would do best in a calm, patient home that will give him time to build confidence at his own pace. Gentle guidance, routine, and positive reinforcement will help him continue to grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be. Cringer has so much potential and just needs someone willing to see past his initial shyness and offer him the love and security he's never had before. Come meet Cringer today. Adoption fee is $50 and that covers his neuter, microchip and vaccinations.

Cringer- A0059881690, 75 pounds, heartworm negative, not neutered

Caddo Parish Animal Services's Adoption Policy
We have many great pets available for adoption at our shelter and during our offsite adoption events. We welcome you to visit our animals and adopt a pet today! There is no resident location requirement to adopt a pet from us. We have a friendly staff that will assist you in locating a compatible pet for your home and family. To adopt a pet you simply fill out an adoption application and contract. The contract is a promise from you that you will provide your new pet with a great home where it will be loved and provided for. All of our adoption pets have undergone a health exam and are current on all vaccinations. The adult animals have been Rabies vaccinated and go out with a rabies tag. To support our mission, our adult animals are spayed or neutered before adoption. Potential pet adopters must conduct a meet and greet with desired animal prior to completing the adoption process. This information provides staff with a better understanding of the pet adopter's past animal history, their expectations for a pet, lifestyle, and the environment in which a new animal would be placed.
