Cricket's Story
Hi! I'm Cricket and I'm a 3 month old Male Terrier Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!

I'm going to grow up to be a big guy, I've already got big paws, big ears, and an even bigger personality to prove it (and in case you were wondering, yes my ears DO get excellent reception)! I was brought in from an overcrowded shelter where I was originally found as a "stray at large", whatever that means. Like most terriers, I've got energy for days and will thrive in a home that can keep me engaged with playtime, walks, and mental enrichment such as puzzles. After I've had my fun, I'm more than happy to settle in for some cuddles and recharge for my next round of zoomies.

Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.

Hope to see you soon
