Cricket's Story
Introducing Cricket! This adorable, energetic boy is full of life and ready to find a family who can keep up with his enthusiasm!

Cricket thrives on playtime - whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or any other game that involves his favorite people (or dog friends), he’s always up for fun. Once he’s out the door, Cricket is a great walker, but he can get a bit jumpy and wiggly during harnessing - he just can’t contain his excitement! With patience and positive reinforcement, he’s already making great progress.

Cricket is mostly potty-trained and house-trained, and he knows which toys are his to play with. He’s both food and toy-motivated, making him an excellent candidate for continued training. Cricket would do best in an active home that can give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Long walks or runs, regular playtime, or even some hiking adventures would make him one happy dog. With the right guidance, this smart pup will blossom into a well-mannered, loyal companion

Cricket may be a bit too exuberant for very young children, but he’s lived with older kids before and loves to play with them. He also enjoys the company of other dogs who love to play. Since his play style can be a little rough at times, he’d likely do best with another young, energetic canine friend. Cricket will need a home without cats.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who’ll bring joy and energy to your life, Cricket might just be your perfect match!

Please note:
- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.
- Applications can be downloaded from our website.
