Creek's Story

Creek is a 5-year-old shepherd mix with a calm soul and a gentle heart. He originally came to us after being abandoned, but thankfully a kind person took him in temporarily. Though they already had several pets of their own, they gave Creek a soft landing until he could find his true forever home.

Creek is a mild-mannered guy who seems happiest just hanging out. He's not overly active-more of a "let's take it easy" kind of companion. He does great in play group with another dog and has done well with kids in his previous temporary home. While he lived outdoors during that time, he always seemed eager to come inside, and he's been keeping his kennel nice and clean here at the shelter-so house training may come quickly with a little guidance.

Creek walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is overall just an easygoing boy. His finder said he chased their barn cats, but he's shown no interest in our house cat-so that may depend on the individual feline. With a bit of structure and a lot of love, Creek will no doubt make a loyal and loving addition to someone's home.

Ready to give this sweet shepherd mix the second chance he deserves?
