Cranberry Sauce's Story

Meet Cranberry Sauce! Cranberry Sauce is an approximately 3 month rescue GSD mutt who arrived in Seattle from Yakima on 11/18/25. Her approximate DOB is 9/11/25 and we think she will be large when fully grown. Like most puppies, Cranberry loves to play hard and nap harder! She loves toys and loves her people even more.

She is doing amazing with her current fosters! They report that she’s making good progress with crate training, potty training, and leash training. She loves to say hi to everyone (adults, kids, dogs, anyone who can give her attention) and loves to play (followed immediately by a good snuggly nap). She can sometimes be a bit vocal if she is left alone, in a crate, or while playing with other dogs. At first, Cranberry was quite scared riding in the car but her fosters have been tremendous progress with this already. She’s learned how to fetch and will often spend 30 or so minutes just running up and down the apartment hallway getting her wiggles out before crashing out taking a nap everywhere and anywhere. She’s pretty good with basic commands and is highly food and attention motivated. She enjoys sticking her head in your shoes and barking at herself in the mirror. Cranberry’s fosters describe her as “a mischievous (but cuddly) girl and has a huge heart and the cutest face.”

Since Cranberry Sauce is a baby, we expect adopters to continue working with them on all the usual puppy things (potty training, crate training, leash training, separation anxiety, etc.). Fill out an adoption application at https://forms.gle/ZvvQobuhgmkU5AJEA if you'd like to meet them!

=================================================

***WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.***

If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt a pup, send us an email at adoptions@rhas.love and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible!

Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW!
