Cranberry's Story
Meet the Fruit Litter Puppies!

These 11 puppies (7 males, 4 females) were born on November 29, 2025 and are now accepting adoption applications.

Mom, Cherry, is a 70-lb black German Shepherd/Husky mix. We believe dad is a Husky mix, possibly with Akita, around 80 lbs. These pups are expected to be medium-to-large dogs when full grown.

At 6 weeks old, they show typical puppy behaviors—playful, curious, learning through interaction, eating kibble well, and enjoying time with other dogs. Please note pictures of the puppies are mixed and individual phot0s are being added.

Cranberry, a female, currently weighs 7.2 and one of the biggest of the litter

All puppies are vaccinated for their age and microchipped. Go-home date: January 24, 2026

Adopters should be prepared for training, socialization, and the commitment that comes with raising a puppy.

If you are interested in adopting Cranberry, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
