Cracker Jack's Story
Have you heard of a prancy, hoppy jog? Well, that's how we describe Cracker Jack roaming through the backyard. He's a low to medium energy hound (at this point), that will play/rough house with another dog for a bit but then seems to prefer lounging on the bed. He's still timid but warming up to the humans in his foster home. He does seem to be more comfortable with foster mom.

While he loves to paw at you for attention, he's not a snuggler. We aren't sure of Cracker Jack's past, but loud noises or sudden movements do startle him. We know he just needs some time for his personality to shine through. He would do best in a calmer home with another confident canine companion to show him the ropes.

**This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter. If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.

Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization. We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received.
