Cowboy Charlie's Story

I was found at Lake Eufaula by my foster mother and immediately taken to her vet to be neutered, given all shots, tested and treated for heartworm and given flea and tick prevention.

I have a healed over broken front right elbow. The doctor says nothing can be done and I will always have a limp but get around without any limitations.

I am sweet and loving and around 3 years old. I like scratches and having my belly rubbed. I love just laying next to my people. I could be loved on all day! I use the doggie doors to go outside to potty.

My foster mom is 72 yrs old and has two dogs and a cat that I get along with and like to play tug of war with the younger dog. My foster mom loves me so much and it hurts her to rehome me but she believes someone else can give me more attention and take us on long walks. Her two dogs and cat are quite a bit for her to take care of or she would keep me. She wants me to find a home that will love me as much as she does and that has more time to give me exercise that I need.

I would love to meet my new forever family and give them all my love!

Charliedoggie is participating in the iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner.
