Cowboy is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix and the sweetest 4 legged companion you’ll come to know. He can be a little shy in a new environment at first but once he’s comfortable you can count on him to always be by your side. <br/><br/>On top of being man’s best friend, he also gets along very well with dogs of all shapes and sizes, cats, and children of all ages. <br/><br/>Cowboy is very well trained in regards to going to the bathroom. He knows not to go in the house and instead when let outside and during walks. Cowboy is at his happiest when receiving pets and belly rubs, and when he is snug as a bug in the presence of others.<br/><br/> It is needless to say that Cowboy loves to be involved and is ready to be a part of a forever family.<br/><br/>Strong breed adoption criteria<br/>- Must be over 25 years of age to adopt a strong breed dog.<br/>- Written landlord permission or a pet policy allowing the specific breed is required for adoption approval.<br/>- A virtual home visit may be required.<br/>- Training or breed experience is required as part of the adoption.<br/>- Agree to not take the dog to dog parks or dog daycare.<br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt to the SF Bay Area and surrounding counties only.
