Meet Cowboy

Cowboy is a 75-pound, one-year-old, friendly, active, playful, and fun German Shepherd looking for a loving guardian.

Cowboy is currently staying at a doggie daycare where he gets along well with most dogs. He’s a little intimidated by larger dogs than himself. He’s housebroken and knows some basic commands.

He was relinquished by his family who had two children under five years old. While he was fine with the kids, he got amped up with their crazy energy.

Cowboy is looking for an active and fun-loving family so he can exercise daily and continue his training.

Cowboy is extremely healthy, neutered, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

His adoption fee of $350 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Cowboy, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

He is being fostered in Chicago.
