Cowboy's Story

Meet Cowboy

At about a year old and 58 pounds, Cowboy is a happy-go-lucky mixed breed with one of the cutest features ever - a perfect little brown patch over his eye that gives him permanent "main character" energy. His tail is basically in a constant state of wag, and he greets everyone like they're an old friend he's been waiting all day to see.

Cowboy is outgoing, friendly, and completely thrilled about life. Walk? Amazing. New person? Best day ever. Squeaky toy? Mind-blowing. He's the kind of dog who wakes up ready for whatever adventure comes next.

Because he's still young and full of enthusiasm, Cowboy will need to work on some manners and leash skills. The good news? He's very food motivated and eager to please, so training will be a fun bonding experience rather than a chore. Bring the treats and he'll bring the effort.

He also seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs. A playful canine buddy would be a dream come true for him - someone to romp around with and help burn off that joyful energy.

Cowboy is all heart, all wag, and all in when it comes to loving his people. With a little guidance and a lot of love, he's going to grow into an incredible companion who's always ready to saddle up for life's next big adventure.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

You could be a life saver!
Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
