Cowboy's Story
Meet Cowboy! This sweet pup was rescued in Todos Santos, Mexico in 2025 from a farm along with 11 other puppies. We estimate this sweet boy was born in March of 2025, and he currently weighs around 35 pounds. Cowboy is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him, and is practicing all his new skills to show off when he finally does meet them!

Cowboy is a goofy love bug who loves to give his humans the funniest of looks! He loves to meet new volunteers and doggie friends and can be heavily persuaded to quickly become your best friend with some treats. Cowboy enjoys playing with all his doggie friends at the shelter, and gets along with both and male female pups. He also has experience with young children and has been walked by many different handlers throughout his time at our shelter. This funny boy is always down for an afternoon walk or pool time followed by some belly rubs and cuddles. Cowboy would be a great companion for any family looking to add a medium energy younger pup to their home. Cowboy is currently working on his sit, stay, and other skills at our shelter while he waits for his forever family to find him! So don't hesitate to apply today this adorable boy.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Cowboy is currently located in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter and is hanging out in the sun and with their doggie friends all day long. He is ready to venture to the PNW if we have a dedicated foster or an adopter. Once a pup is picked for a new family they can normally arrive to the PNW within 15 days.

Cowboy's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $400USD. This helps us cover most of his vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.

Please Apply savingbajapaws.org/application
