Cowboy's Story

Cowboy is a sweet boy who was on the red list at a county shelter and we could not let that happen. He knows several commands and learns quickly with positive reinforcement and treats. He may occasionally jump up when excited but is learning to keep his paws on the ground.

Cowboy is a love at home who is always ready for a belly rub, and would also enjoy having a doggie play friend to play with. He can be a little intimidated when first meeting new people and dogs so a slow/mindful introduction is helpful, but he warms up quickly. He loves his toys and will often carry them around the yard.

Cowboy plays hard, works hard, and naps hard at the end of the day! He's ready for his forever home.

If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org
