Cowboy's Story

Handsome Hound Freckle Faced COWBOY is looking for a new range to call his own. He is a very sweet engaging boy with great enthusiasm for life and if he could talk he would say YEEHAW every morning to greet you. He is energetic, likes to explore, loves the great outdoors. COWBOY is 2 years old, 45 pounds. Enjoys other dogs. Good with kids. Cats unknown. He has completed a four week professional training course and is very responsive to commands and following the direction of his owner. His new home would need to continue to follow his training protocol so he understands who the leader is. COWBOY is very food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat! He is comfortable in his crate for down time but really likes to be with his humans. His ideal home would have a fenced yard or an area where he can run. He is not a city dog. COWBOY needs an experienced owner that appreciates his love of life and passion for adventure so you can ride off into the sunset every night together. The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
