Cow's Story
🐄 Meet Cow — The Teeniest “Farm Animal” in Town!

Don’t let the name fool you… this Cow won’t be grazing in your pasture! At almost one year old and just 10 pounds, this poodle mix is the furthest thing from barnyard livestock. She’s more “lap luxury” than “open range.”

Cow recently moseyed into rescue and is ready to find her very own homestead.
This little heifer comes fully trained and ready for life on (or off!) the farm:

House trained
Bell trained to let you know when it’s time to head out
Kennel trained
Up-to-date on vaccinations
Microchipped & spayed
Walks nicely on a leash (she may tug a bit, but at under 10 pounds she’s easy to steer!)

Cow isn’t one to stand around in the pasture — she enjoys 2–3 mile “cattle drives” (walks!) and loves a good game of fetch in the yard. She knows “sit” and “down,” and since she’s very food motivated, she’ll happily work for treats. Training this girl is smoother than fresh-churned butter.

She’s happiest when her herd is nearby and would do best in a home where someone works from home or stays home with their children. Cow loves companionship and prefers not to spend long days alone in the barn. If your house has steady activity, cozy laps, and plenty of together time, she’ll thrive.

She’s been known to share the barn with cats and does well with other dogs after a proper introduction. Like any good farm gal, she appreciates a slow, polite “howdy” before becoming fast friends.

Her curly coat will require regular grooming to keep her looking more “county fair champion” than “muddy pasture pup.”

If you’re ready to add a little livestock love to your life — minus the hay and early mornings — Cow is ready to trot right into your heart.

Apply to adopt Cow at: www.adoptapal.org/adopt

Adoption fee is $500 and she is spayed, microchipped, and has age appropriate vaccinations.
