When I am home, he follows me around the house all day if he's not lounging on the couch. Loves to swim and go on runs. Loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. He's the perfect cuddle buddy on your worst days and the perfect adventurer to join you outside on the best. Another great thing about Porter is that you can sit and eat dinner around him without him jumping up and trying to steal your food. He will sit patiently next to you if you tell him to sit and wait. He also waits on your permission before going outside and before eating his meals. His gaze hypnotizes you into buying him all the toys he wants. (His plethora of toys along with supplies such as: XL crate, bowls, slow feeder, lick mat, food, reversible winter sweater, chicken costume, treats, treat pouch, paw wipes, eye wipes, shampoo, fur spray (Pethead), leashes, etc will be coming with him).<br/><br/>Here are some things that PORTER is looking for...<br/> A home that will allow him to stay inside with his people where he will feel most secure<br/> Fenced yard so he can run and play safely when outside<br/> A home that will give him lots of love and attention<br/><br/>Things to know about PORTER:<br/> Very loving and responds very well to being loved<br/> He can be high energy when playing, but still loves to cuddle<br/> He is crate trained and enjoys lounging in the open crate on his own during the day<br/><br/>A home and/or vet check and rehoming fee of $200 will be required to adopt PORTER. This fee will help cover supplies we will provide to his new family as well as his shots, flea treatment, and worm treatment (he is in perfect health now).<br/><br/>Please note the Humane Society of West Alabama is not liable for the behavior of courtesy listing dogs.
