Cotton's Story

Cotton is a lovable, 2-year-old Akbash weighing in at a solid 90 pounds of goofy charm and loyal heart. This handsome guy lives harmoniously with a senior female Lab and a young Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix, and he especially loves a good game of chase in the yard. While Cotton doesn't retrieve or swim, he does take his role as guardian of the home seriously. He’ll be the first to let you know when someone or something is approaching the property—he’s got your back!

Cotton enjoys both the great outdoors and relaxing indoors. He’d prefer to sleep in your bed (he hopes it’s king-sized), but he's also content curling up on a dog bed or in his crate. He's great in the car—though fair warning: he may root around your shopping bags assuming there’s a treat hidden just for him! He has wonderful leash manners and is truly a joy to walk—as long as you're mindful of his leash reactivity. With awareness and good management, walks with Cotton are a pleasure.

Socially, Cotton gets along well with most other easygoing male and female dogs (with proper introductions). He LOVES kids and gets SUPER excited to meet them.

No cats or small pets, please. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate buddy who’ll protect your home and heart, Cotton might just be your guy!

Contact Cathy 925-303-0509
