Cosmo is a 3-month-old red tick coonhound mix (also known as an American English Coonhound) and he’s everything a puppy should be—wrinkly, chubby, playful, smart, loyal, and unbelievably lovable. This handsome boy has been raised in foster care from day one and has had an excellent start in life.<br/><br/>Cosmo was born on October 19, 2025, to Mama Rosie in St. Charles as part of a litter of 11 puppies. He currently weighs about 22–26 pounds and is expected to grow into a 55–70 lb adult, making him a great medium-to-large companion.<br/><br/>Cosmo loves to play, explore, and soak up the world around him, but when he’s tired, he’s all about the snuggles. He enjoys basking in the sunshine, relaxing with his people, and even watching TV. He has a wonderful balance of puppy energy and cuddle time.<br/><br/>This smart boy is already crate trained and especially loves sleeping in his crate. He’s also 100% potty trained and will even ring a bell to let you know when it’s time to go outside—pretty impressive for such a young pup! Cosmo understands several basic commands using both verbal cues and hand signals, including sit, shake, speak, and spin.<br/><br/>Cosmo is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and once he’s old enough, neutering will be coordinated and paid for by Starfish.
