Cosmo is a petite mixed-breed boy, about 2–3 years old and weighing around 15 lbs. He may be small, but his heart is big once he feels safe. Cosmo has a bit of stranger danger, so he’s not the type to run up and make best friends right away, but give him some time, patience, and kindness, and he’ll bond deeply with his person. Once he warms up, he’s all about belly rubs, affection, and being truly loved. With other dogs, Cosmo can be a little snappy at first and will need slow, respectful introductions and time to build trust. Once settled, he does well, especially with his buddy Nova! The two are great together and can be adopted as a pair or separately into the right homes. Cosmo will need some help with leash training and basic manners, but his biggest need is a calm, stable environment where he can relax, decompress, and come out of his shell at his own pace. In the right home, Cosmo will be a loyal, loving little companion who just wants to feel safe and cherished. A quiet home, patient humans, and lots of love will help this sweet boy truly shine.
