Cosette's Story

Cosette is a lovely eight-year-old AKC registered Dalmatian who is ready for her "furever" home. The last few years of her life have not been kind. She can be high-energy, but she is learning lots of manners with her foster mom and doggy brother and sister. Cosette would thrive in an older household with an active retired single or couple and perhaps a laid-back four-legged companion, but she can also be left at home to have full run of the house without any problems. She would be very much at home with hiking, mountain climbing, and other outdoor activities. Cosette loves going on walks and walks well on a leash. We don't recommend dog parks. She knows how to use a doggy door. A home with a good fence is important. Cosette does not like small animals (dogs, cats, squirrels, birds and chickens), and, because of her size and energy, we don't recommend small children. Cosette is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Her recommended adoption donation is $300. For more information, please contact
jeannine@dalmatianrescueco.org
.

If interested in this dog, please go to
www.dalmatianrescueco.org
and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy. We must have an application before we can begin the adoption process and each dog does have foster contact listed.

Our Mission
DRC, a designated 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization, is not a shelter. We are a group of volunteers who work with rescued dogs by fostering them in our own homes whenever possible; hence treating them the same as one of our own. We will use a kennel or day care if necessary to save a dog, but that dog will move to a foster ho...
