Cornflake's Story
Meet Cornflake! She is a Pit mix that we estimate to be around 1 year old. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Cornflake can be pretty shy at first, but she really is an absolute sweetheart. Strangers are quite scary, and it takes her some time to warm up. Treats are the way to her heart! With some patience, Cornflake will show you how bouncy and playful she can be. She enjoys going for walks and likes to play with her toys (especially squeaky toys). She is still pretty young and has puppy energy to burn! We think she would make a great hiking buddy! Cornflake does not know many tricks, but she is very food motivated and eager to learn.

It is difficult to discern if a dog is potty trained in a shelter environment. She may need some help with this in her new home. We do not know how she does with cats or other dogs, but we do have a seven-day foster period with every adoption to ensure it's a good fit for everyone. If you have another dog in the home, we require a dog introduction to make sure they will do well together!

If you would like to meet Cornflake, feel free to stop by any time we're open! Our open hours are 2pm-6pm Monday-Saturday. Dog kennels close at 5pm and adoptions end at 5:30pm.
