Corky's Story

Corky came from a Texas shelter in December 2024. She was pregnant and had 5 puppies in January. She was a great Mom and raised her babies. She has a micro eye, unsure if it's congenital or from an injury. She had entropion surgery in December and her eye does not bother her. She is a fetching mix of 14 (yes fourteen) breeds. She is 12" tall and weighs 28 pounds. For a little lady, she has high prey drive (3 herding breeds) so she will need a well fenced yard to keep her safe. Her Beagle nose would make her a candidate for barn hunt or fast cat. She is crate and house trained, walks well on leash and is microchipped. Current on flea/tick preventative and HW-, on preventative. She loves everyone she meets. Contact us for more information. She is a social butterfly and has to meet everyone when she goes anywhere, big smile and wagging tail. Corky has been going to the local care home as a therapy dog and doesn’t want to leave. She would love to continue doing this. Picture with Turkey costume is from one of her visits. Owner injury is the reason for adoption.
