Corky Corgi & Chihuahua Mix Manhattan, KS

Corky is a 15 pound, 4 year-old, neutered male Corgi mix. He is a spunky, playful little ladies man. He loves playing with his toys and snuggling in cozy blankets! He is a loyal, loving companion once he gets to know you, but it may take him a bit to become comfortable with new people, especially large men. However, he can be won over in a couple days with treats. Corky has gotten the hang of walking on a leash, rides well in a car, and doesn’t mind too much being kenneled while his fosters are not home. Every day he is working hard on becoming fully potty-trained. He has gotten along well with other dogs his size, especially female dogs, but he can put on a tough front with dogs that are larger than him. He tried very hard to make friends with the one cat he has met, but the cat wanted no part of that.
Corky would do well in a patient home that will allow him time to become comfortable in his new environment, but also be ready to play and snuggle with him once he comes out of his shell.
