MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Corky. My owner could no longer take care of me so she asked CSAC to help find me a new home. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. I need a special home to take care of my health and happiness. I am diabetic and I have KCS (dry eye). My new family needs to understand how to take care of my needs. I need insulin to mange my diabetes, and I need eye drops for my dry eye. The Vet says I am wonderful for eye drops and try to give kisses. I do need a diet and exercise to help shed some of my extra pounds. My former owner also says I could be in a home with kids or other dogs or both. Everyone says that I am easy going and sweet. I love attention and being with other people and animals. Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center Inc.'s Adoption Policy

An Adoption Application is required on each dog. The application is available on our web site at www.cockeradoptions.org. A home visit, background check, and veterinarian check are performed for each potential adopter. Upon successful completion, the adopter is required to complete an Adoption Agreement and pay a non-refundable adoption fee of $500 (Dogs up to 1 yr. 11 months), $400 (Dogs 2 years to 4 yrs. 11 months), $300 (Dogs 5 years to 8 yrs. 11 months), and $250 (dogs 9 and older). All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their shots, and have been completely vetted. Our Adoption Coordinator will reply to applications or inquiries in a timely manner.
