Meet Cori

Meet Cori! Cori was rescued from a puppy mill where she was being used as a breeder dog. Her birthday is estimated to be 12/19/2019 and she weighed 13 pounds on 12/19/23. Due to life in a puppy mill, Cori does not know what life is like as a normal dog. She will need to be trained in all areas. Cori is a flight risk so a plan must be in place to keep her safe in your home and yard. If she gets loose, she will run and be very difficult to catch. Apple Itags are a great way to add extra protection as you can snap it on her collar and always know where she is. She doesn't realize that people can be trusted quite yet so we always encourage adopters to take as many precautions as possible. With time and patience, we have seen dogs such as Cori blossom and it's a very rewarding experience. Cori will need regular grooming's so keep that in mind as well. She is currently being treated for an ear infection and follow up care will be needed for that post adoption. Cori was adopted for a week but returned because she didn't care for the other dogs in the home. As she gets accustomed to the new and much better normal, she will be a cherished family pet.
