Meet Corey!<br/><br/>Corey is a 1-year-old, 60 lb "Mister Steal Your Girl" mix with a handsome chocolate coat, a fantastic personality, and a serious love for people.<br/><br/>Thanks to our Pause 4 Paws program, Corey recently spent a day outside the shelter, giving us an opportunity to see how he handles life beyond his kennel. He absolutely nailed it.<br/><br/>Corey visited Home Depot, explored HOPE Thrift, stopped for pup cups, and enjoyed riding around town. He handled new places and experiences beautifully and made friends everywhere he went. He also discovered mirrors and seemed pretty impressed by the handsome chocolate dog staring back at him!<br/><br/>Corey has so much going for him. He gets along great with other dogs, has done well with cats, knows "sit," walks well on a leash, and takes treats gently. He loves truck rides, attention, and being around people.<br/><br/>At just a year old, Corey is still a young dog with plenty of adventures ahead of him, but he’s already showing us what a wonderful companion he can be.
