Nicoleigh & Corduroy are bonded Red Merle Aussie/Beagle mixes. They are about 4-5 years old, 40 pounds and very healthy. Both love to run—it is their favorite, next to breakfast, dinner and cuddling...Nic and Cord are both great with other dogs and cats, but are shy and fearful of new people. This is not a permanent state...These poor darlings are one of tens of dogs rescued from a rural southern shelter that lived most of their lives in an outdoor kennel, rarely getting out to run and play and never yet being someone’s best friend...Despite this, both are very affectionate and very playful, animated, funny characters.Nic and Cord have been through a lot, so we will be adopting them to a home where they will never be stuck in an outdoor kennel and never separated from each other...They love love love to run, and running has proven very healing to them, so we’d like to adopt them into a home with a big back fenced in yard. Both are housebroken and non-destructive.
