Cordelia's Story

Cordelia is the brains of the operation — almost all black with a dash of white on her feet and chest, she's curious, confident, and always the first to figure things out. At 6 months old, she's already spayed, crate trained, and plays well with other dogs. She enjoys toys, puzzles, and exploring her world with enthusiasm.

Like many black dogs, Cordelia has been waiting longer than her siblings for a family of her very own — a common but unfortunate reality often referred to as “black dog syndrome.” What adopters may not realize is that black dogs like Cordelia are just as loving, loyal, and full of personality.

Cordelia is a smart, sweet puppy with so much potential, ready to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you're looking for a loving, playful pup who will brighten your days, Cordelia could be the one you've been waiting for.

This sweet girl is being fostered in Littleton, CO and she'd love to meet you!
