CORAL's Story

CORAL

www.youluckydogrescue.org - Adoption Application can be found at this website.

Hi there! I’m Coral, and I’m pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I’m about 2-3 years old, weigh 54 pounds, and I’m friendly, affectionate, and super smart. I’ve been professionally trained and come with lifetime support from my training facility, so my future family will have guidance every step of the way!

I absolutely love to play—bring on the toys and zoomies! I’m especially talented at zoomies. I enjoy playing with adults and older kids the most. Little kids are sweet and I like being near them, but when I’m outside in full play mode, it can be hard for me to remember to be extra gentle. Because of that, I’d do best in a home with older children.

When I’m not showing off my athletic skills, I’m a champion lounger. I love hanging out on the couch, soaking up sunshine in the yard or on the deck, and then coming back inside for cuddles. Belly scratches? Absolute favorite. I’m also pretty clever. I may have figured out how to open the kitchen door if it’s not closed tightly. What can I say? Brains and beauty.

Thanks to my training, I know how to sit and lie down, and I walk nicely on a leash most of the time. (I’m still working on not turning the leash into a tug toy—but I’m improving!) I’m comfortable in my crate and go in when asked. I know “leave it,” will drop things I shouldn’t have, and I’m fully house-trained—no accidents in the house or my crate. Who does that? This girl!

One small thing—my foster mom says I might need a “sleep study” because I snore. I personally think I sleep perfectly fine all night, so that sounds like a her problem.

If you’re looking for a smart, playful, affectionate girl who will keep you laughing and then happily curl up next to you on the couch, I’d love to meet you. Come see my awesome, clever self in person!

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. You can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
