I come from a hoarding situation, so I’ll need extra time to adjust to life in a home. New people, new places, and new experiences can make me a little nervous, so patience and understanding are super important. Things like walking on a leash or going through doorways might feel challenging at first, but with love and guidance, I’ll learn and grow into the confident companion I know I can be. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding for someone willing to take things slow.

I’m playful too! Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all and can spend hours having fun with my favorite toys. At the same time, I’ve shown some touch sensitivities, so it’s important to ask the staff for tips on how to handle me gently and keep me comfortable. I like to explore at my own pace and need someone who respects my boundaries as I learn to trust and relax.

For my forever home, Wayside recommends that you bring your dog to meet me first. I enjoy spending calm time together more than active playtime. I’d do best in a home with kids 10 and older, since I can get nervous around loud noises. If you’re patient, loving, and willing to give me the time I need, I’ll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of cuddles once I feel safe and happy!

Love, Cora
