Copper (formerly Pax)'s Story

Update as of March 2025. Pax is now Copper. His name matches his color and is perfect. He was adopted when he was 3 months old but was adopted with his brother Pluto now Jax, and they are bigger and a lot more active than the 70 year old woman thought they would be. Copper would be great for a young active family with other dogs and or kids! They are Cattle Dog/Lab mix and are about 40 pounds. He is 9 months old as of March and will be a medium sized dog.

Meet Pax. He was found as a stray who had probably been dumped in Macon County, Tennessee. He was found with his siblings Pluto, Percy, Pixie, Piper and Pixie. They were named after P names. They are a medium sized breed. Mom was found too and looks like a Min Pin but their DNA says mainly Australian Cattle Dog and Lab. Mom got adopted! . He is in a foster with other pups his size/age and is doing well socializing. He is one of the more shy and timid pups, but he has been through so much. He will make a great family pet. He was born on 6/8/24.

The adoption fee is $400. This covers the vetting. That would include a neuter, microchip, heartworm test at 6 months, rabies, bordatella and 4 parvo/distemper shots. She will be dewormed several times and will be started on flea/tick meds at 3 months. She will have a parvo shot every 3 weeks until they have had all 3 then the remaining vetting will be done by 6 months.

To apply for Copper (Pax), go to www.lifehouse.petfinder.com and click on the link to the online application.
