Copper's Story

Copper is a bigger, warm and mellow gentleman. He is a beagle mix, estimated to be 2-3 years old. He weighs 46 pounds. Copper is tri-colored, with traditional beagle coloring and some gorgeous brown shades. His fur is slightly thicker, like some beagles. While he has the beagle look, Copper is larger. He seems to be a mix of beagle and a larger dog, perhaps a German Shepherd. Regardless, he is a handsome and excellent dog.

Copper comes to us from a shelter in the Central Valley, which got him as a stray. He had to have been someone's dog before. Copper is very mellow and well-behaved. He is quiet, except for occasional woofs as a watch dog. He gets along well with other dogs, rides well in the car, walks 9n a leash, and is house-trained. Copper likes balls and toys, but is not high energy. He is a bigger, soft, and warm guy who would be happy to stay close, keep someone company, and gets pets and tummy rubs.

If interested in Copper, please contact Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com.
