Copper's Story

Hi my name is Copper! I'm a new dog here at the Blue Mountain Humane Society looking for my forever home. I was found as a stray and no one ever came to claim me. Not much is known about me, but I'm a very sweet and loving boy! Thanks to the shelter I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped! If you're interested in me and would like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application online and come visit me!

How to adopt animals at BMHS: 1. Browse the available pets online 2. Complete an adoption application 3. Visit BMHS during open hours 4. Get to know the pet. Play with them, take them for a quick walk, observe their behavior, and visit with our team to learn more about the animal. 5. All pet adoptions can be finalized the same day. Dogs over the age of 6 months can go on a free, three-day home trial to make sure they are your perfect match before you finalize the adoption process. 6. Receive a lifetime of unconditional love!
