Copper's Story
Copper came into rescue in March 2022 he was estimated to be 1 year old. He has been in rescue and cared for daily by his handler a certified dog trainer. Copper is a unique dog, and he will make a really fine dog. He is a unique blend of breeds.
47% American Pitbull Terrier
22% American Staffordshire Terrier
7% Rottweiler
4% Bulldog
3 % Boxer
He has a few other breeds in small percentages. He is a very unique blend of breeds making him a very special dog.

He has played well with dogs he has been properly introduced too. He is gentle when taking treats and he is slow eater. He usually finishes his meals. He knows his basic skills sit, down, come, touch, stay and much more. Copper has the ability to jump high so he will need a fenced in yard with a 6-foot-tall fence. He is always supervised for his protection. He sleeps overnight in his crate. During the day he enjoys, play time with dogs he knows. He gets enrichment and mind stimulation regularly and has a predictable routine in his life. Which every dog deserves and should have.

Because he is such a joyful dog and wiggly kids 11 years and older is recommended. He's never been around a cat, so I don't recommend a home with one. I don't want to set him up for failure.

As a small rescue, you will need to contact Mecca's Pit Bull Rescue for more information. Our dogs are important to us, and we want to do our best at finding the correct home for every dog. He is a very unique dog and would enjoy your company.

Wisconsin Adoption only
