Yes, he’s skittish at first but a lovebug once he’s comfortable.<br/><br/>Children? Eh. Yes, not a fan and may whine or cry for 20 minutes or so when he first gets to his new home and has to go in. Gets excited when you put the leash on him.<br/><br/>Fence needed? No<br/><br/>Copper came to us as an owner surrender after his dad developed dementia and had to move to a facility. He has adjusted to a new home after 11 years surprisingly well. All this sweet boy wants is to snuggle with you, preferably with a cozy blanket. Nothing would make him happier than snoozing on the couch with you all day.<br/><br/>He’s been with us since the end of January and hasn’t shown any interest in toys other than an occasional sniff, and he’s only chewed on a bone once. He will occasionally try to play with our labs, but it’s rare. He loves his food and treats. He is very healthy for 11 years old, too.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, loving snuggle bug to spend your days with, Copper is your guy!
